Ceed SW : Connecting an iPod
A USB/AUX hub was fitted as standard on the Ceed SW. This neat feature means you can play your iPod* through the Ceed's audio system allowing you access & control over its music whilst driving.
Follow our step by step guide on how to do this:
- Locate your USB/AUX hub which is in the centre console near the gear stick
- Your brand new Ceed SW should come with a USB/AUX cable which is usually in the glovebox. If you don't have one of these you can purchase one by calling 0845 673 0124.
- The cable is clearly marked USB & AUX, plug this into the hub and the other end into your iPod.
- If your radio is turned off, turning it on will activate the iPod and the audio system will automatically start reading its tracks. This is briefly shown on the audio systems LCD display.
- That's it. Your iPod should start playing through your audio system. If it doesn't, simply press the Mode button on your steering wheel. This allows you to switch between the iPod and your Radio (FM) and CD player.
- Finally you can search through your iPod's track listsings by pressing the Seek |<< >>| buttons on your steering wheel. The iPod volume is now controlled by the Ceed's audio system so pressing the + or - buttons on your steering wheel adjusts the iPod's volume.
